There’s a lot being said about cheating due to a recent event and also relating it to spiritual immaturity.
Although I understand the lessons some are trying to teach. I feel the need to speak for those of us who are walking through confusion, grief, and growth with love, not hidden agendas.
Not everyone who is struggling is betraying.
Not everyone whose love looks messy is dishonest.
Many of us are trying to unlearn living in survival, rediscover our authinic self, and trying to stay soft in a world that keeps hardening us.
Society loves to judge without understanding.
To name what’s “right” or “wrong” from a distance without ever asking,
“What was their soul trying to learn?”
Sometimes love finds us in chaos.
Sometimes, the lesson is in another person.
And sometimes, we’re just trying to feel something real after years of feeling nothing at all.
This isn’t to defend behavior.
It’s to defend humanity… the kind that bleeds, learns, falls, and rises again.
I don’t speak to excuse.
I speak so that others who are still becoming don’t feel shamed into silence.
Let’s hold space for each other to grow through healing.
Let’s stop pretending perfection is a prerequisite for love.
And let’s remember you can’t judge someone’s healing while skipping your own.
