I searched above and below.
I searched near and far.
I searched beyond the seas and underneath the rocks.
I tried to find you in the face of others in hopes that you were hiding there.
I accepted hurt thinking it would be you that would later save me. And then….
I searched within and found you.
You were with me all this time but I wasn’t looking in the right places.
I found the other half of me when I took the time to find myself.
In divine timing is what I was told.
Just when I was ready to give up.
The other half of my soul showed up and embraced my entire self… but only after I lost the old me.
After I lost the parts of me that no ponger served a purpose.
When you found me I was not the same person I was when I started. I changed so that I can give you something no one else has ever had…. a healed me!
